It started the way most good things do — on top of a hill, slightly out of breath, wondering why nobody made hiking gear that actually had personality.
We didn’t just want to build a brand — we wanted to keep it eco-friendly. But we were also tired of the same bland outdoor aesthetics.
So we made something different: sustainable shirts that feel like us — a little weird, a little adventurous, and obsessed with trails.
Today, Hill Areas Hiking Club is a community of hikers who believe the outdoors should be fun, expressive, and unapologetically niche. Every design we make is a love letter to the trail life.

Meet the Bear — Our Very Tired Mascot.
Every club needs a mascot, and ours happens to be a sweaty bear in a ranger hat with a camping roll on his back. He's not lost. He's not scared. He's just been on the trail since 6am and really wants a snack. We see ourselves in him every single hike.
